Art is my passion,
there are always new paths to follow.
With my family or fellow artists I have traveled extensively world wide. Forty sketch books are filled with drawn and painted records of our journeys. I finished at least one complete and framed painting from most of these trips Australia and the South Pacific to Turkey and Africa and more. At home in Corona del Mar I concentrate on local scenes and also on stage performers in costume and as they take final bows.
It is a joy to me to try different mediums and use them together.
Several large etchings with gold leaf came from leaves themselves. Oil painting has led me into portraiture. Pastels have become an increasing help in developing and finishing a watercolor. Egg Tempera gives depth as no other medium can.
